I just want to be clear that I don't want to be at work today.

LOL!

I want to be in my pj's on the couch w/ the kids & Jason.

Instead I am sitting at work, with all my stuff done, the phone isn't ringing, and I am here by myself.

tap tap tap tap tap....tap.

Jr Miss was this weekend. We had a blast. My girl was Brittany and I love that girl. She rocked the show. Her talent was killer, she sang Fever by Peggy Lee. Her fitness was one of the best up there! Her poise, beautiful.

The after party was one of the best times I had.

Surgery here I come...once again

Well in 7 weeks I am going under the knife yet again. This time I am not so happy about it. After losing almost 100lbs and actually starting to run my bum knee has start acting up again. The same knee I had operated on in jr high. So going in for an MRI and all the testing again brought back all my fears of what the dr was going to say....and to my surprise and his .. it didn't look AS bad as we thought. I am basically going in to have my knew shaved around, the cartilage clipped away and some other fun things. Down time...and this is where it killed me I should be up walking on Monday, but exercise wise aka running 3 f-ing months.

Kids are good. Busy as always.

We have a busy next few months w/ Ethan's bday, Thanksgiving, Hase's Bday, Christmas, New Years and Jocelyn's bday!

PCS list is submitted....now to wait till Jan-Mar to find out our next desination!

Just some ramblings....

How fast has summer gone...

it bothers me.. I can't believe its August already, in ways I am excited for things that are coming up but on the other hand... its all going too quick.

summer is "our" time. Our time to sit on the beach with great friends, sit by the fire and talk about our family and our goals. Laugh, and have a really good time. Not saying that winter is all bad nights and boring days, its just we all seem to be have more time together in the summer and of course this being our last summer on Nantucket, it saddens me. Of course...Ethan has the best of friends, along w/ me and Jay. Everyone loves Jocelyn and helps with her all the time. Makes me think how much I am going to miss this lil island we call HOME.

I love Jersey but I feel like sometimes its not home anymore. I mean I know in my heart its home but when everything on the home front isn't right...do you really want to call it home? Not so much, my family, I feel like it;s falling apart right in front of my eyes. Kids living at home, that hated home months ago, others not living at home that need to be, others think they can do better w/ out the family but sometimes cant.... is it my fault for leaving and it all going to hell. Is it my fault for getting out and leaving them behind... not sure. I am sorry if it is.. I love them with every breathe I take but I feel like its out of my hands now. No one talks anymore. Everyone lies.

To one of them: Go home...make up ... just suck it up and do good this yr, I know you can. I need you too. If you fail, I fail. and baby we don't fail! No matter what or who thinks we do. I love you more then you know... and I am always here, and if it gets too rough, call me...we can get threw this.

To the others: I am sorry that I am not there to bail you out... but you can get out of this shit yourself... I have taught you well. Sweet talk one and agree with the other. You know that they are "always" right. They are ours and there is NO changing this... they do love us and they do everything for us.

To one: you need to stop playing the field with all of "them" Choice who you want in your life...do NOT have all because one will get hurt, and the one that you played against will be there to clean it up....again.

My do we have to be this way....

be free. live your life. no matter how hard it is going to be. We will be fine. It's gonna hurt when it heals too. It'll all get better in time. And even though I really love you. I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to. It'll all get better in time.

Ree: thanks so much for always letting me cry. you are my world. since we were little you never judged me or my family. and I can't say thank you enough. you mean so much to me and my family. how many nights did I sleep on your couch. you never pushed me away or told me no. always let me go. and figure shit out on my own. but always were there to catch me when I fell. love for a friend, cousin, sister is what I have for you. its greater then most.

He's Home

My baby is home and already being a goofball!!
He had a GREAT time in Florida w/ his grandparents!!

But of course drama we cause....

yesterday we go to logan to get Ethan. Joce wasn't feeling so well. she started getting hot. so we got off the boat had breakfast and she fell asleep in my arms.

wouldn't eat or drink.

we get to Logan where I encounter Bitch#1 who will not let Jason
come back with us to get Ethan because he is NOT on the ticket...

so I say ok I will go and take Jocelyn you go with Hase (my brother, pronounced Haze) and get a beer I will go let her play in the playarea and wait for Ethan.

So off go me and Joce to security, we wait in line. A TSA guy comes over and start talking to Joce "look at your shoes, they are green like Kermit" she starts to cry and holds her mouth, so I pick her up thinking ok she doesn't feel well and not liking that this man is talking to her. and as I pick her up to swing her on my hip she RALPHS all over me!!! Sour milk!!! I put her down and she proceeds to get sick.

I fumble in my bag for my cell but can't find it. SO at this point TSA is all over us. I ask them if they can page my husband so he can take her I can go get Ethan.

The kermit guy says here use mine. I call Jason who RUNS over to us... now you know if you see someone running in the airport...your gonna cause a seen. SO everyone is now watching as he is running in the airport to security! LOL! The Tsa are popping the ropes off so he can run right over. He grabs her and takes her out to the car and I turn to go threw security. I put my nasty puked on shoes in the bin w/ my bag and hold it. I tell the guys at the scanner "do not let anyone touch this bin, it has throw up in it" "what" "do not let anyone touch this bin, it has throw up in it" "what" "look my kid just threw up all over that bin and the stuff inside so I was trying to tell you not to let anyone touch the stuff" Bitch#2 " whatever" the fucker said whatever to me...

so I am standing there in front of a muslim man .. tsa is now walking over to our area and the scanner dudes are like "is this your bag" to the guy he says no and they continue to ask him 3 more times... I look at the bag...its MINE! I say :its mine: BITCH#3 dude walks over and I say "easy what you touch" "why" "it has throw up all over it" "whats in the bag" "what" "whats in the bag" "uhh underware, dress, diaper, wipes, my cell I think, wallet, why" out he pulls her sippy filled with liquid. I said "oh thats my daughters" "well where is she" "over there" "over where" and now the fucker is starting to get loud. so I get louder because I am on the verge of tears, covered in puke of sour milk, and only have 10 mins to get to the gate to get Ethan. "she is standing over there with her dad, she is covered in puke, and why are you harassing me I am not even FLYING" he hands me the sippy and lets me go.

I make it to the gate and I go to the counter to check in. "Hi," Bitch#4 "Not now, you need to take a seat and I will be with you in a few minutes" I take a breathe, and think ok.. I need to get myself to gether anyway so I go sit down. About 5 mins later, she seems less busy so I go up " can I ask you a question" "if your not on this departing flight you need to sit down and I will be with you in a few mins" now i am pissed. I see people lining up, so I go jump in the line because I need to check in to get someone not get on a flight. she then announces that the next flight out is transferring gates. so every customer gets up aggrivated and relocated, well i go to the lady again and said .." excuse me," this bitch says "you need to go to A21" right as I went to fly off the handle another worker came up and said "where is the flight from Tampa, I have 7 kids getting off" the bitch says they transferred to A21..so I aske the lady who walked up "can I ask you a questions since this lady is rude and had no time to answer questions" she glared at me..i could feel it...LOL! "i am just trying to check in I am picking up my son, who is coming in as an unaccompanied minor" she asked from Tampa and then I told her yes and and she said follow me...

she explained that he was going to be last off and all I would have to do is sign for him since she checked my ID as we walked to the gate...

Joce continued to get sick all the way home, and woke up this morning FINE!!!

....June came and went...and now is July

Can you believe its almost August...where did the time go?

I am super excited because on Monday I get my baby back!! I know he has had a great time with his Pop Pop and Grand mom T and all his aunts, uncles, great grandparents & cousins but honestly... I want him home!!!

So we went to a wedding off island *Emily & Karl's* and Oh My GOD we had a blast...from the 1st day on. It was our 1st time being away from both kids in so long...we kind of didn't know how to act! We met some of the greatest people, had a wonderful time and rocked the mustang with the Ard's!!!

Baseball Season

Well Baseball season is in full swing. Ethan is on the St.Louis Cardinals. We had our opening game on Saturday and let me just say the weather felt like February weather. It was 45 raining, foggy and just straight up nasty. He did so well...got a double then stole home! He is the 1st base man...nice little perk to being a lefty!!

Thanks Craig <3

Photobucket

This one reminds me of my mom: Photobucket

Busy season is upon us.

Here it is.. April and where did the time go. I can't wait for summer. There is a light at the end of the tunnel of cold and boredum. Our busy season is upon us. This is what I love the most. Ethan's sports start up and we can be outside more. Biking, walking, grilling, beach time, fishing and sitting by the fire pit! YEAH!!

Well Ethan's is in full swing of baseball season. Practices are 3 times a week ... fun! He does so well. He also started Krav maga, which is a "self denfense/marial arts" type thing. Jason goes to the advance class a couple nights a week too.

Jocelyn is ... well she is Jocelyn. She is 2 and thinks she rules the house and in most cases ... she does. She has all 3 of us wrapped around her little finger. Right where she wants us. She is becoming such a big girl already. It saddens me. She is my last baby...I don't want her to grow up so fast. She is in a big girl bed, uses the potty 90% of the time, her voca is growing and she is SO independent! Loves the Princesses and Dora and of course Mickey Mouse.

Jason & myself...well we are alive... Jason is getting ready to take the SWE to advance (cross your fingers) to cheif. Lets hope his studing pays off for him! I know he can do it. He is also "training" to do an Iron Man race with a couple other Coasites. It will be fun! The wives are going to get shirts made to cheer them on! Other then that we are the same old same old. As my daddy says "Same shit different day"

I do miss my family so very much. Think that is why I don't call like I use to. It makes it so much worse for me. This year more then ever. My brother's and sister's are growing up and pulling away from the "needs" of me and I think that is what is getting to me. They come to me about adult issues. Sad but Glad.

Well...I guess I should get back to work. Love you all.

Disney here we come!!

I can't even type it without smiling!! This year has been one of our toughest, with work and vacations. Jason has been so busy and short staffed that taking a vacation or even getting off the island hasn't happened since August.

The other day he said "We need a vacation" I couldn't believe my ears! It started out as an adult vacation, as in cruise. Then we moved to going to Mexico for a week. Then back to a cruise but this time with the kids, but have you priced the Disney Cruise OMG! Then when Jason saw the amount he said "We might as well just go to Disney"

A weekend later, we are booked!! Dawn and Aaron are joining us. It is going to be SO much fun!! November in Florida!! So super siked!!

Maybe I can get my wonderful in laws to meet us up there for dinner or a day in the park with the kids.....

Best weekend ever!

Let me just start off my saying I love my birthday but HATE surprises!! I am not one of those girls who "hate" surprises, I truely hate them!

So let me tell you about my weekend: My cousin, best friend and the sister I always needed came up to visit for the weekend with her family. So that started off my exciting weekend.

Jason had asked me to get off of work on Saturday so that he could take me to dinner since I work a double on my birthday. So we planned on dinner with the four of us.
We go to the resturant and our friend is the manager and she greets us and goes to seat us and walks us around the corner where all my friends are waiting in the wings and yell "surprise"
I was truely surprised! 18 of them. Christy & Brian, Warren & Lauren, Stef & Shane, Stef & Sy, Dawn & Aaron, Hase, Emily, Keisha, Shannon & Blake, Jen & Nadav, Sarah & Jesse and a few extras. We had a sit down dinner. It was so nice. I got some great gifts. Stef & Shane .. OH they made me this shelf with hooks, its beautiful! LOVE IT. Christy & Brian spoiled me with gift cards and lotions and candles (Lily scented, so I have my own Lily) Besides getting presents which they didn't have to get, it was so nice to have all of them together! We went to the Crown afterwards to party it up! LOL!
The next night I had planned to have everyone over for dinner : BBQ themed. Everyone brings a side and let me just say it was SO GOOD!
Then just to spend the rest of the weekend with Dawn, Aaron and the kids was awesome.
THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO CAME AND HELPED! I love you all!!!

What a mutha f&%ken day!

Yes you read it right! What a mutha f&%ken day!! Let me just start off with this . I love my life and I really do. I get up with the boys, have my coffee, watch the news, the boys leave, I shower get Jocelyn ready, Hase comes's in gets ready ... we all leave together. I drop Jocelyn off at daycare, drop Hase off at work and the head on to work myself....sounds easy, right... RIGHTTTTT... till this morning when we woke up and there was snow on the ground. We headed off to work and I called Jason (my very own superhero) to ask what wheel drive I needed to be in. He tells me I put it in and I follow my directions. Then I see the road and it looks clear (well as clear as can be) and I pull over, take the rear wheel drive off and continue down the road. Then we fell into a ditch, not really a ditch more like a notch where the grass and road meet. When I pulled up on the road I started to fish tail and I couldn't stop. The truck went back and forth, back and forth and then I saw, funny how you see it all happen in slow motion while its happening but it happens so fast, I saw the "grass" and thought "oh that will slow us down" OHHH was I wrong it sling shot us into the tree. I have never been so scared in my life. Jocelyn was screaming, I grabbed Hase (flashbacks) and Hase turned around and grabbed Jocelyn's face. How thoughtful!!! The man driving behind us and stopped jumped out of his truck ran over and was seriously an angel! Someone remind me to send him flowers tomorrow. He stayed with us the whole time. Jason came, the police. It was a mess. THANK GOD FOR WINE!!!

Mommies Weekend Update

Well mommies weekend came and past all too quickly! We had so much fun! OH MY GOD was it cold out side but we survived! Had to definily stop for coffee just to warm us up! I felt myself bottoming out while we were there. Kinda scary, but I realized it and then had to go fuel myself to get me back to normal. *Thanks Potter for being there with me*

So basically the weekend consisted of shopping, coffee, shopping, eatting, shopping, coffee, shopping, eatting ... and a little bit of sleeping!

Back to realitly now, I got a 2nd job. Working a couple nights a week at a liquor store in town. One day when we buy a house it will answer that question "why a 2nd job"

Sad how no matter where I live... I always seem to work at a liquor store/lil mom&pop store/bar

I think its in my blood! LOL!

News : My sister Jessie is ENGAGED!! Jesse (her boyfriend) asked her to marry him, and she of course said yes...I would say Welcome to the family but I did that when Kaylen was born.

Well I hope everyone is doing good, and let me end this by saying "can you believe it's almost March"

Thursday, February 14, 2008

ok..Valentine's Day update

I made the family pancakes and bacon for breakfast and had little treats for them with home made cards.

We went to dinner with friends ... it was perfect! I wouldn't of had it any other way!

I <\3 Valentine's Day

I hate it

I think its useless
We have never celebrated it

This year I thought I would surpise him and take him out to dinner and yesterday when asked what he was doing on Valentine's Day, his reply was "going to Krav"
GREAT... off to cancel the reservations.

ARGH!

WHATever right... what made me think we would be different this yr. I mean, we have never celebrated it. We were two broke ass kids in high school, then two broke as kids with a baby...see the pattern....lol.

=)

One yr later....

Ok .. so as most of you already know I had Gastric Bypass surgery on February 6, 2007. I had the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RGB)This operation is the most common and successful combined weight loss surgery in the United States. First, the surgeon creates a small stomach pouch to restrict food intake. Next, a Y-shaped section of the small intestine is attached to the pouch to allow food to bypass the lower stomach, the duodenum (the first segment of the small intestine), and the first portion of the jejunum (the second segment of the small intestine). This reduces the amount of calories and nutrients the body absorbs.

It has been a trying year, with learning new things, coming to grips with it mentally, and I am not even completely 100% gripped yet. It is a physical change along with mental and emotional. But I survived and most importantly my family survived. I have lost 72% of my excess weight. I am down 7 sizes in pants. My BMI went from 44 to 31 and still going down. I went from a 3x shirt to xl which is a HUGE deal, that means I can shop where NORMAL girls shop.

I am truly happy that I did this and I know I could not have done this without Jason by my side. I was afraid and still kind of am to admit that I had to do this.. only because I felt like I failed at loosing it myself. But I have a great support of family and friends that have backed me up with this!

Sorry the pictures are not better ...the 1st one is my hospital picture. This is the awful picture that is on the front of my folder at the hospital...so ashamed. The next picture is me...-80lbs down and one year from picture #1. I still have 30 more to lose but its a work in progress

Mommies Weekend

OH this week will be slow I can tell you that much.

Next weekend, myself, my Potter, and my neighbor are all going off island for mommies weekend!! YEAH!! We were suppose to be joined my our other friend but circumstances beyond her control are forcing her to stay home. I mean she IS 8.5 months pregnant!! LOL!

We love you Lard and we will buy you presents!!

We have no game plan really, except shopping and of course we are meeting up with one of my favorite chicks Jenny!! SO excited (girl we snapping some photos!)

So much to look at, so much to price and so much to buy!!

and off the subject: Jason and myself NEVER celebrate Valentine's Day. I feel like it is an over priced holiday, why roses cost that much on that one day is beyond me...so we never did and never will (so I thought) The other day we were talking and he said for Valentine's Day, my birthday and or Christmas I wasn't getting anything . I replied that we don't do Valentine's Day and he said "or so you think" ... ... ... WTF! He better not, because I don't have SHIT to give him...now I am in a scrabble to get something to be prepared... He better be joking!! LOL!!

Random talking about PCS

So again we were talking about PCS'ing (for all of you that don't know what I am talking about its when the military moves you to your next location.) We were on the way home from the grocery store and started talking....and didn't stop until we got home. I started with my rant of before the moving truck comes I am doing an over haul of toys, Jason went and agreed and Ethan sat in the back of the truck pissed!

Then we talked about where we wanted to go, we agree on all of them, I am hesitant with one only because I "know" someone there and we "don't" get along (or so I think)

We talked about if we get orders to a "certain" place that I am going off island and buying stuff that I want because it will be hard to get it when we get there.

That started a new discussion of what I wanted and the order of things, you know..the order Jason wants them! LOL! I want a Armoire for my TV, or we can get a Flat Screen but I want a table for under neath but I want one with baskets or draws. So that is 2 of the things...and I want a new bed...I feel like I deserve a new bed. We have been together for 10 yrs and never bought a new bed. We had my "childhood" bed for evah!!! EWW..it was so OLD!

We got home and I found a flat screen, and it was equal to the price of some air line tickets we are looking at purchasing, and I said we could get the TV and pass on the trip ... that was a NO go from the king. LOL! He would rather pass on both, not because he doesn't want the TV or to go on this trip but because he doesn't want to spend the $$. LOL! I know he doesn't read this...so I am thinking I might just put money aside that he doesn't know about and give it to him for his birthday. Anyone willing to contribute...all donations are excepted! =}

Back to the main topic of PCSing, we have such a hard place because Jason is getting ready to take a test that is major! If he places high and they move quickly, we will be moving most likely to a boat. Meaning Jason will be underway once again. Which I am OK with. He needs it and in this house, his career comes 1st and then the kids with school & sports, then me...because honestly...I can pretty much handle it all. I did tell him that when we do move I am staying home w/ Jocelyn for a yr. I have been working since she was 5 weeks old. I say I wont work but I know I will. As long as it can handle that I will be a single mother at times and my kids are #1 in my world!

I am excited to leave the rock yet again, I will miss my friends so terribly but I KNOW that I will stay in touch with them (they know who they are) and that they WILL come and visit!! My cousin/sister/best friend swears she will not come see me but I know she will, because not only does she love me but I have her 2 god children!! heehee hee!

So I am ending this with this vent...we have lived here since June 2006 and my parents have yet to come up...we are only 7 hrs away. I miss them...why can't they come visit?????

Friends....

Where would you be with out your friends???

Me, well let me tell you were I would be without my friends this week... sitting in the dark closet crying. I have had a HELL of a week and Christy and Lauren (aka Potter and Lard) pulled me threw...not nicely but they did. Well one was nice and the other was brutally honest =) I have had an emotional and sensitive week, crying, yelling, barking responses and whine and that has all been daily. LOL. they (poor things) have had to sit and listen (or pretend) to me ALL week.

Today...(let me take a deep breathe) ... Today I had to report to work at 8 (I am not in till 9) Yes I know that the normal working class citizens all go to work well before 9 but I don't! I had to come to work to get payroll done so my boss/bosses could go on vacation. Well I normally drop Jocelyn off at daycare at 830, then run down to the boat to drop Hase off, then off to work I go....well this morning I had to get Joce and myself ready an hour early, pick Jason up then drop Jocelyn off at 730 then go to work. Sounds fresh and clean, right.....NO... I had to get Lard to come pick me up to take me to go get the car from the boat (lost yet...let me fill you in. Jason dropped me off then gave the car to Hase, who works till 6 and I work till 3..get were I am going with this) so she comes and gets me....I vent in the car...leave in tears because she makes me laugh. She drops me off at the truck and I follow her go grab a sandwich.....and realize I locked my keys in my purse in the office.... I have my car keys...but no bag, that is the keeper of the office key and the money... What The Fuck!

This time I am going to try to think of different things. ... .. . thinking . ... .. . still thinking!

1.\ When I am mad or arguing with Jason I can't sleep. I have night mares. Toss and turn all night. It bothers me. Eats away at me until we are "good" again.

2.\ I like to stay up late and clean. When everyone else is in bed and the house is quiet and the lights are dimmed... I like to sneak out and clean, then light a candle and sit and relax. Why do it when I have thunder and lightning awake and pull toys and projects out after I clean them up and nicely put them away. Its not that they don't help me, its I have this little OCD about things going back to were they belong (all crayons in the box, all toys with its rightful owner, yada yada)

3.\ I like to be early for work, not to get paid more because I never ever give myself those hours but because it is quiet in there and I feel like I can get my day started off better when I have a "few" moments to myself!! LOVE IT!

4.\ I have a desire to be crafty yet I am the most UN crafty person you will ever meet.

4.\ When I am stressed I have to cook or clean. I normally have to start cooking and then clean while what ever I have made is cooking. Its an evil thing... because it always seems to be sweets or desserts. But then again Desserts is Stressed spelled backwards.

5.\ I don't like the phone. I hate answering it. I hate talking on it. I love texting. I will text you till the sun come up but please don't call me. LOL...ask Potter, we talk for hours and I always end up cleaning while she is on the phone. I think that is where it all stems from...you call me I get bored I have to start cleaning and honestly who the hell wants to clean???

6.\ I am scared of the dark. It is not a "childish" thing, or me trying to be "cute" I am petrified of the dark. E sleeps with a night light and the bathroom light on as well as Joce and I don't argue with them because the lights come under the door of my bedroom and sooth me. Jay has to have it like the flipping bat cave in there and I hate getting up in the middle of the night because its DARK!

7.\ I can not finish a drink, the bottom of any drink skives me out. Its a known fact. :)

8.\ I am one to feel like I am in control of the situation. I know it had a wide range of definitions but it goes for a lot of things. I like to be the driver (except when J is in the car) I have to know what is for dinner in the morning. I like to know what the kids/myself are wearing the night before (hard task since E has been choosing his own outfits) I have to know what our month looks like in regards to activities. I have to plan ahead, if not it stresses me out.

ON that note...I am done..and like Jenny said before: your tagged if you want to be...but my opinion is you should do this...you will learn about yourself! LOL!

Happy Birthday Jocelyn!!

Well my baby girl is 2! I can't believe it. Where does the time go?? She had cupcakes for her birthday with us on Friday (her actual birthday) then a play date with her bestest Sydney and then a little party with her birthday buddy Gabby! We had Syd, Lilly, Gabby and Jocelyn! What a crew that one is. LOL! Myself and Ethan were late because Ethan had a wicked asthma attack and ended up in the ER for 4.5 hrs and come to find out he was bronchitis! Oh what a day!

PCS

WHY... why do you start thinking about it a year a head of time. Get your hopes set on this one place that you really want and then you end up not even picking it. LOL! I am excited to see where we go next. Jason is taking the May SWE (for all you civilians, its the test he takes so he can advance higher in rank, it's kind of a big deal) this time around he is taking it to move up to Chief! Ah... 9 Yrs ago... we were punk ass kids who had NO clue. Now I feel like we are ....... well "grown ups" (when did that happen)

Places we are thinking about are all scattered around. We are not revealing some. Others are like Niagara, NY : Buffalo, NY : Coos Bay, OR : Eureka, CA : Northern Fl. and some more. We have a talk about once a week about it. Sad thing is we don't pick till Oct! LOL!

We want to be closer to family, we really do but we have to look at what & where is going to benifit Jason's career. We can visit, they can visit (yada yada blah blah) Its just a point in time where we have to "think about ourselves"

I love living on the island, I have such good friends here but I am excited to see where we land next. Hopefully this time around I can get my Ack friends to visit. Being here when all their babies are born and then moving away and missing the achievements they make hurts. I figure this...if we get West Coast, The Potter's can just take an extended vacation when they visit family and come see us too. The Ard's I will just bribe, not sure with what but I will figure something out =)

If we move West Coast, for the 1st time in 10yrs I will be able to meet Jason's Aunt & Uncle and see his other Uncle and Aunt!! They will get to see Ethan & Jocelyn!! THAT is exciting!

Ok... I am done rambling..off to spend a Saturday with the family.

The bump from hell!!

OK so Jason woke up the other morning and had this egg on the back of his head. He said it hurt. He couldn't turn his head in that direction either. SO all day he kept saying "its a tumor" Does he thinks that funny. Apparently!

So fast forward to last night. He is so concerned about it (not that I'm not) he googles brain tumors and gets this:

  1. Headache, which is often generalized. It is persistent and worsens with activity, such as straining. It is often worse at night or in the early morning.
  2. Vomiting, which may or may not be associated with nausea. It is more common in children than adults.
  3. Seizures, in an adult without a history of seizures, strongly suggests a brain tumor. Appropriate examinations, including CT or MRI scans, should be done promptly.
  4. Change in mental ability or personality, that may be obvious to the family and not to the patient, or vice versa.
  5. Lethargy
  6. Other: The other category of symptoms has to do with the tumor's location and the pressure effects it produces on nearby structures. There are many types of local symptoms, including: weakness of various parts of the body, especially an arm or a leg
difficulties in coordination or balance : impairment of memory : various vision defects
speech problems : changes in sensation : in the case of brain stem tumors - defects in the functioning of nerves that exit from the base of the brain.

So out of that group he has had: the headache (seriously had one for 2 wks) Vomiting (no but he felt like he had to because of the headache) Other (it says int here weakness to various body parts especially an arm) He had tingling in his arm for like 2 wks. SO he is on his way to the Dr's now.

Just think of us today that this is something simple.... Thanks.

Update: Went to the Er and the Dr "thinks" its nothing

serious! SO glad he gets paid mega fucking dollars

to have "think" come out of his mouth. DO some test douche bag

and fix my husband. So long story short he is on anti-biotic

and warm compresses! ARGH!
