Random talking about PCS

So again we were talking about PCS'ing (for all of you that don't know what I am talking about its when the military moves you to your next location.) We were on the way home from the grocery store and started talking....and didn't stop until we got home. I started with my rant of before the moving truck comes I am doing an over haul of toys, Jason went and agreed and Ethan sat in the back of the truck pissed!

Then we talked about where we wanted to go, we agree on all of them, I am hesitant with one only because I "know" someone there and we "don't" get along (or so I think)

We talked about if we get orders to a "certain" place that I am going off island and buying stuff that I want because it will be hard to get it when we get there.

That started a new discussion of what I wanted and the order of things, you know..the order Jason wants them! LOL! I want a Armoire for my TV, or we can get a Flat Screen but I want a table for under neath but I want one with baskets or draws. So that is 2 of the things...and I want a new bed...I feel like I deserve a new bed. We have been together for 10 yrs and never bought a new bed. We had my "childhood" bed for evah!!! EWW..it was so OLD!

We got home and I found a flat screen, and it was equal to the price of some air line tickets we are looking at purchasing, and I said we could get the TV and pass on the trip ... that was a NO go from the king. LOL! He would rather pass on both, not because he doesn't want the TV or to go on this trip but because he doesn't want to spend the $$. LOL! I know he doesn't read this...so I am thinking I might just put money aside that he doesn't know about and give it to him for his birthday. Anyone willing to contribute...all donations are excepted! =}

Back to the main topic of PCSing, we have such a hard place because Jason is getting ready to take a test that is major! If he places high and they move quickly, we will be moving most likely to a boat. Meaning Jason will be underway once again. Which I am OK with. He needs it and in this house, his career comes 1st and then the kids with school & sports, then me...because honestly...I can pretty much handle it all. I did tell him that when we do move I am staying home w/ Jocelyn for a yr. I have been working since she was 5 weeks old. I say I wont work but I know I will. As long as it can handle that I will be a single mother at times and my kids are #1 in my world!

I am excited to leave the rock yet again, I will miss my friends so terribly but I KNOW that I will stay in touch with them (they know who they are) and that they WILL come and visit!! My cousin/sister/best friend swears she will not come see me but I know she will, because not only does she love me but I have her 2 god children!! heehee hee!

So I am ending this with this vent...we have lived here since June 2006 and my parents have yet to come up...we are only 7 hrs away. I miss them...why can't they come visit?????

Friends....

Where would you be with out your friends???

Me, well let me tell you were I would be without my friends this week... sitting in the dark closet crying. I have had a HELL of a week and Christy and Lauren (aka Potter and Lard) pulled me threw...not nicely but they did. Well one was nice and the other was brutally honest =) I have had an emotional and sensitive week, crying, yelling, barking responses and whine and that has all been daily. LOL. they (poor things) have had to sit and listen (or pretend) to me ALL week.

Today...(let me take a deep breathe) ... Today I had to report to work at 8 (I am not in till 9) Yes I know that the normal working class citizens all go to work well before 9 but I don't! I had to come to work to get payroll done so my boss/bosses could go on vacation. Well I normally drop Jocelyn off at daycare at 830, then run down to the boat to drop Hase off, then off to work I go....well this morning I had to get Joce and myself ready an hour early, pick Jason up then drop Jocelyn off at 730 then go to work. Sounds fresh and clean, right.....NO... I had to get Lard to come pick me up to take me to go get the car from the boat (lost yet...let me fill you in. Jason dropped me off then gave the car to Hase, who works till 6 and I work till 3..get were I am going with this) so she comes and gets me....I vent in the car...leave in tears because she makes me laugh. She drops me off at the truck and I follow her go grab a sandwich.....and realize I locked my keys in my purse in the office.... I have my car keys...but no bag, that is the keeper of the office key and the money... What The Fuck!

Random Facts

Random Facts

The rules are: Once you have been tagged you have to write a blog with 8 weird or random things, facts, or habits about yourself. At the end, you choose 8 people to be tagged, list their names, and why you chose them to be tagged. Don't forget to leave a comment that says, "You are tagged" on their profile and to read your latest blog. Have fun

This time I am going to try to think of different things. ... .. . thinking . ... .. . still thinking!

1.\ When I am mad or arguing with Jason I can't sleep. I have night mares. Toss and turn all night. It bothers me. Eats away at me until we are "good" again.

2.\ I like to stay up late and clean. When everyone else is in bed and the house is quiet and the lights are dimmed... I like to sneak out and clean, then light a candle and sit and relax. Why do it when I have thunder and lightning awake and pull toys and projects out after I clean them up and nicely put them away. Its not that they don't help me, its I have this little OCD about things going back to were they belong (all crayons in the box, all toys with its rightful owner, yada yada)

3.\ I like to be early for work, not to get paid more because I never ever give myself those hours but because it is quiet in there and I feel like I can get my day started off better when I have a "few" moments to myself!! LOVE IT!

4.\ I have a desire to be crafty yet I am the most UN crafty person you will ever meet.

4.\ When I am stressed I have to cook or clean. I normally have to start cooking and then clean while what ever I have made is cooking. Its an evil thing... because it always seems to be sweets or desserts. But then again Desserts is Stressed spelled backwards.

5.\ I don't like the phone. I hate answering it. I hate talking on it. I love texting. I will text you till the sun come up but please don't call me. LOL...ask Potter, we talk for hours and I always end up cleaning while she is on the phone. I think that is where it all stems from...you call me I get bored I have to start cleaning and honestly who the hell wants to clean???

6.\ I am scared of the dark. It is not a "childish" thing, or me trying to be "cute" I am petrified of the dark. E sleeps with a night light and the bathroom light on as well as Joce and I don't argue with them because the lights come under the door of my bedroom and sooth me. Jay has to have it like the flipping bat cave in there and I hate getting up in the middle of the night because its DARK!

7.\ I can not finish a drink, the bottom of any drink skives me out. Its a known fact. :)

8.\ I am one to feel like I am in control of the situation. I know it had a wide range of definitions but it goes for a lot of things. I like to be the driver (except when J is in the car) I have to know what is for dinner in the morning. I like to know what the kids/myself are wearing the night before (hard task since E has been choosing his own outfits) I have to know what our month looks like in regards to activities. I have to plan ahead, if not it stresses me out.

ON that note...I am done..and like Jenny said before: your tagged if you want to be...but my opinion is you should do this...you will learn about yourself! LOL!

Happy Birthday Jocelyn!!

Well my baby girl is 2! I can't believe it. Where does the time go?? She had cupcakes for her birthday with us on Friday (her actual birthday) then a play date with her bestest Sydney and then a little party with her birthday buddy Gabby! We had Syd, Lilly, Gabby and Jocelyn! What a crew that one is. LOL! Myself and Ethan were late because Ethan had a wicked asthma attack and ended up in the ER for 4.5 hrs and come to find out he was bronchitis! Oh what a day!

PCS

WHY... why do you start thinking about it a year a head of time. Get your hopes set on this one place that you really want and then you end up not even picking it. LOL! I am excited to see where we go next. Jason is taking the May SWE (for all you civilians, its the test he takes so he can advance higher in rank, it's kind of a big deal) this time around he is taking it to move up to Chief! Ah... 9 Yrs ago... we were punk ass kids who had NO clue. Now I feel like we are ....... well "grown ups" (when did that happen)

Places we are thinking about are all scattered around. We are not revealing some. Others are like Niagara, NY : Buffalo, NY : Coos Bay, OR : Eureka, CA : Northern Fl. and some more. We have a talk about once a week about it. Sad thing is we don't pick till Oct! LOL!

We want to be closer to family, we really do but we have to look at what & where is going to benifit Jason's career. We can visit, they can visit (yada yada blah blah) Its just a point in time where we have to "think about ourselves"

I love living on the island, I have such good friends here but I am excited to see where we land next. Hopefully this time around I can get my Ack friends to visit. Being here when all their babies are born and then moving away and missing the achievements they make hurts. I figure this...if we get West Coast, The Potter's can just take an extended vacation when they visit family and come see us too. The Ard's I will just bribe, not sure with what but I will figure something out =)

If we move West Coast, for the 1st time in 10yrs I will be able to meet Jason's Aunt & Uncle and see his other Uncle and Aunt!! They will get to see Ethan & Jocelyn!! THAT is exciting!

Ok... I am done rambling..off to spend a Saturday with the family.

The bump from hell!!

OK so Jason woke up the other morning and had this egg on the back of his head. He said it hurt. He couldn't turn his head in that direction either. SO all day he kept saying "its a tumor" Does he thinks that funny. Apparently!

So fast forward to last night. He is so concerned about it (not that I'm not) he googles brain tumors and gets this:

  1. Headache, which is often generalized. It is persistent and worsens with activity, such as straining. It is often worse at night or in the early morning.
  2. Vomiting, which may or may not be associated with nausea. It is more common in children than adults.
  3. Seizures, in an adult without a history of seizures, strongly suggests a brain tumor. Appropriate examinations, including CT or MRI scans, should be done promptly.
  4. Change in mental ability or personality, that may be obvious to the family and not to the patient, or vice versa.
  5. Lethargy
  6. Other: The other category of symptoms has to do with the tumor's location and the pressure effects it produces on nearby structures. There are many types of local symptoms, including: weakness of various parts of the body, especially an arm or a leg
difficulties in coordination or balance : impairment of memory : various vision defects
speech problems : changes in sensation : in the case of brain stem tumors - defects in the functioning of nerves that exit from the base of the brain.

So out of that group he has had: the headache (seriously had one for 2 wks) Vomiting (no but he felt like he had to because of the headache) Other (it says int here weakness to various body parts especially an arm) He had tingling in his arm for like 2 wks. SO he is on his way to the Dr's now.

Just think of us today that this is something simple.... Thanks.

Update: Went to the Er and the Dr "thinks" its nothing

serious! SO glad he gets paid mega fucking dollars

to have "think" come out of his mouth. DO some test douche bag

and fix my husband. So long story short he is on anti-biotic

and warm compresses! ARGH!
