What a mutha f&%ken day!
Yes you read it right! What a mutha f&%ken day!! Let me just start off with this . I love my life and I really do. I get up with the boys, have my coffee, watch the news, the boys leave, I shower get Jocelyn ready, Hase comes's in gets ready ... we all leave together. I drop Jocelyn off at daycare, drop Hase off at work and the head on to work myself....sounds easy, right... RIGHTTTTT... till this morning when we woke up and there was snow on the ground. We headed off to work and I called Jason (my very own superhero) to ask what wheel drive I needed to be in. He tells me I put it in and I follow my directions. Then I see the road and it looks clear (well as clear as can be) and I pull over, take the rear wheel drive off and continue down the road. Then we fell into a ditch, not really a ditch more like a notch where the grass and road meet. When I pulled up on the road I started to fish tail and I couldn't stop. The truck went back and forth, back and forth and then I saw, funny how you see it all happen in slow motion while its happening but it happens so fast, I saw the "grass" and thought "oh that will slow us down" OHHH was I wrong it sling shot us into the tree. I have never been so scared in my life. Jocelyn was screaming, I grabbed Hase (flashbacks) and Hase turned around and grabbed Jocelyn's face. How thoughtful!!! The man driving behind us and stopped jumped out of his truck ran over and was seriously an angel! Someone remind me to send him flowers tomorrow. He stayed with us the whole time. Jason came, the police. It was a mess. THANK GOD FOR WINE!!!

Mommies Weekend Update
Well mommies weekend came and past all too quickly! We had so much fun! OH MY GOD was it cold out side but we survived! Had to definily stop for coffee just to warm us up! I felt myself bottoming out while we were there. Kinda scary, but I realized it and then had to go fuel myself to get me back to normal. *Thanks Potter for being there with me*
So basically the weekend consisted of shopping, coffee, shopping, eatting, shopping, coffee, shopping, eatting ... and a little bit of sleeping!
Back to realitly now, I got a 2nd job. Working a couple nights a week at a liquor store in town. One day when we buy a house it will answer that question "why a 2nd job"
Sad how no matter where I live... I always seem to work at a liquor store/lil mom&pop store/bar
I think its in my blood! LOL!
News : My sister Jessie is ENGAGED!! Jesse (her boyfriend) asked her to marry him, and she of course said yes...I would say Welcome to the family but I did that when Kaylen was born.
Well I hope everyone is doing good, and let me end this by saying "can you believe it's almost March"

I <\3 Valentine's Day

I hate it
I think its useless
We have never celebrated it
This year I thought I would surpise him and take him out to dinner and yesterday when asked what he was doing on Valentine's Day, his reply was "going to Krav"
GREAT... off to cancel the reservations.
ARGH!
WHATever right... what made me think we would be different this yr. I mean, we have never celebrated it. We were two broke ass kids in high school, then two broke as kids with a baby...see the pattern....lol.

One yr later....
Ok .. so as most of you already know I had Gastric Bypass surgery on February 6, 2007. I had the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RGB)This operation is the most common and successful combined weight loss surgery in the United States. First, the surgeon creates a small stomach pouch to restrict food intake. Next, a Y-shaped section of the small intestine is attached to the pouch to allow food to bypass the lower stomach, the duodenum (the first segment of the small intestine), and the first portion of the jejunum (the second segment of the small intestine). This reduces the amount of calories and nutrients the body absorbs.
It has been a trying year, with learning new things, coming to grips with it mentally, and I am not even completely 100% gripped yet. It is a physical change along with mental and emotional. But I survived and most importantly my family survived. I have lost 72% of my excess weight. I am down 7 sizes in pants. My BMI went from 44 to 31 and still going down. I went from a 3x shirt to xl which is a HUGE deal, that means I can shop where NORMAL girls shop.
I am truly happy that I did this and I know I could not have done this without Jason by my side. I was afraid and still kind of am to admit that I had to do this.. only because I felt like I failed at loosing it myself. But I have a great support of family and friends that have backed me up with this!
Sorry the pictures are not better ...the 1st one is my hospital picture. This is the awful picture that is on the front of my folder at the hospital...so ashamed. The next picture is me...-80lbs down and one year from picture #1. I still have 30 more to lose but its a work in progress

Mommies Weekend
OH this week will be slow I can tell you that much.
Next weekend, myself, my Potter, and my neighbor are all going off island for mommies weekend!! YEAH!! We were suppose to be joined my our other friend but circumstances beyond her control are forcing her to stay home. I mean she IS 8.5 months pregnant!! LOL!
We love you Lard and we will buy you presents!!
We have no game plan really, except shopping and of course we are meeting up with one of my favorite chicks Jenny!! SO excited (girl we snapping some photos!)
So much to look at, so much to price and so much to buy!!
and off the subject: Jason and myself NEVER celebrate Valentine's Day. I feel like it is an over priced holiday, why roses cost that much on that one day is beyond me...so we never did and never will (so I thought) The other day we were talking and he said for Valentine's Day, my birthday and or Christmas I wasn't getting anything . I replied that we don't do Valentine's Day and he said "or so you think" ... ... ... WTF! He better not, because I don't have SHIT to give him...now I am in a scrabble to get something to be prepared... He better be joking!! LOL!!
