Happiest day

So someone just asked me what the happiest day of my life is....and I had to sit and think about it. Not because I didn't have an answer but because I have a few days that stood out and made me feel the happiest. First is the day Jason proposed. He choose me, he was the one that was going to rescue me from the black hole I was sinking into. Second being the day Ethan was born. My baby, my 1st born and my son. It was a scary experience and to watch his dad cry because Ethan almost didn't make it and then to see Jason bring him into me in the recovery room, it filled my heart with happiness. Third being the day that Jocelyn was born. Having Jason and Dawn there to watch her come into this world after we fought for her to join us as a family. My little peanut, my baby, my daughter. Over all everyday is the happiest day of my life. I get to watch my kids grown and learn. I get to live everyday with my best friend and soul mate. I get to live life.

So excited

I think I am 95% done with booking this Florida trip. The truck has a reservation off the island. Jason and the kids will go off and I will fly off after work and meet them. The plane tickets are bought. The rental car is booked and waiting at Fort Myers! Clothes for the wedding are on the way to the house. We are SO excited to go and visit. Jason is excited to have QT with his dad. I can't wait for everyone to see how big Ethan has gotten and for them to meet Jocelyn! Veronica is going along with us to "help" with the kids. I can't wait to spend time with her and get inside her head. LOL!!

I am still out of work .... can't wait to go back. I applied for a different position inside the bank...hopefully (crossing my fingers) I get it and can actually do it! LOL! Jason is trying his best...sometimes he is so discourage with the station because he feels they don't "trust" him. I keep telling him to say something but he won't. He will just deal with it. Other then that he is enjoying himself.

The weather the last couple of days has been nice. We got to 47 here the other day. The boys went out riding on the ATV's.

The puppy, my birthday present from Jason and the kids will be here on Sunday. I have to go to Logen to pick her up ... I can't wait. She is too cute.

The kids....well they are the same. Nothing really new with them.

5 days post op

Well I have to say I feel like a big pile of crap. I hate this crap. At this moment in time I wish I never did it.I hurt...bad my stomach has a swolleness (can't even think of a better word) around the area. I can't eat because it hurts. Im tired & weak. I can't stop crying because I feel like shit. I live 2 hrs away from the hospital. My sister leaves tomorrow. I hate protein shakes...cant find one that I like. Living on applesauce and chicken broth. I cant sleep. This sucks so bad...im so uncomfortable.

Other then that the family is great. Joce is walking all around. Ethan is stirr crazy being in the house because its so cold outside. My sister Jessie and her daughter came up to help with the kids and like I said above she leaves tomorrow.... I am sad to see them go. Kaylen is so fun to play with and Joce adores her. They are only 2 months apart in age. Jason has been the best with me. Catering to my ever need. Babying me. Poor guy sat in the waiting room at the hosptial for 9 hrs! Man he must love me.

Welcome

Welcome to our spot. We had to get rid of the old blogger due to some "stalkers" LOL! So this is the "new" where you can keep up with what is going on in our world, things the kids are doing & the lastest news.
Things as of today are good. Jason just got back from school in VA and is tired of going and having to travel back and forth onto the island. Not an easy task.
Ethan is doing good in school, got in trouble on the bus (which is total BS) because he was standing. I totally understand that it is not accepted to stand on the bus and its not safe but then tell every other kid on that bus to sit down. I ride behind the bus in the morning on my way to drop Joce off at daycare and I see kids of all sizes standing up. Call me the angry mom but if he gets in trouble or spoken to again, they are going to hear a mouth full from me. He is in advance reading in school and was just in a play called "THE THREE BILLY GOATS GRUFF" He was the troll. He hasn't started any sports yet, waiting till March for boxing!! Next season is football and baseball.
Jocelyn is growing like a weed. Cranky due to her molars coming in but she will survive. She is trying her hardest to walk and doing a great job at it. She got her "report card" from day care and they said she is a pleasure and always happy. Makes me feel good about our "parenting" She is a snuggle bug. Loves to cuddle. LOVES her daddy, and it shows so much.
Me well where do I begin. I am doing good. Got a promotion at work and applied for another position inside the bank. Cross your fingers. Tuesday I am having a little surgery but nothing to get worked up about. It is time for me to work on me.

Nantucket....well it's Nantucket. What can you say besides sometimes its a little piece of heaven and some times its a little piece of hell. Right now since its winter time it is DEAD out here. The weather is fierce....it was "warm" today about 37 degrees! Love my friends out here. They have been great! So helpful. We have new people moving on the block. That should be fun, they have a little girl 2 days younger then Joce. YEAH friends for the baby girl!! Ethan will be sad come June or July when our neighbors leave. Ethan plays with him and has so much fun with him. I am sure we annoy the neighbors but what can I do about that? I tried, right. :)

Well I guess that is all for now. Sorry for the loss of our old blog. But we hope to keep this one around for awhile.
